I'm mad as hell...and I like to watch.

Capcha wants me to try Zonate. Sounds like a generic Enzyte.

Can I interest any of you in buying shares in my new venture, the Misery-Loves Company?

All my market research has convinced me that there is a niche for vacuum-packed immiseration.

You guys read this drivel every day. I've got a question. Has anybody said just what exactly is making them so miserable? I mean, we haven't seen tax increases or withdrawal from iraq or prosecutions of bush administration figures or any changes to gun laws or even a repeal of DADT?

What constitutional freedoms are they constantly going on about losing? Have they ever said?

This was actually something I was gonna follow up on except that I'm lazy. Yeah, the column is remarkably free of real-word impact for ol' Burt.

well, mikey, I think it has something to do with that terrible terrible blackamoor who has usurped an old white guy's heritage by being elected...

Oh, that and the fact that other people exist. peeps like OldBurt can ignore that while we're bombing the bejabbers out of brown people, but after a while the war porn can't get them hard anymore, Zonate or not, and reality creeps back in.

Zombie currently living in a boglet.

The ones who give reasons are the craziest, because the reasons I've seen are all for things that were worse under Bush. "The administration is pooping on the Constitution!!!" doesn't carry much weight when the dudes saying it didn't give a shit about loss of Habeas, torture, warrantless wire-tapping, etc. or "OMG the deficit" after supporting Bush off-budget accounting for years. Of course, Burt's old, maybe he just forgot all that.

They still have sore butts, I think. Who wouldn't?
If you're going to vacuum pack the immiseration, you will to check for anaerobic bacteria and I think the act of checking the immiseration will alter it. Yes, I'm talking to you Mr Heisenberg.

Ahh, the paradox of Shroedinger's Buttocks.

It boggles the mind...

Is the hamster alive or dead? Or both?

I loved that joke, posted by someone somewhere the other day, in which Mrs Schrodinger says, "Erwin, whatever did you do to the cat?!! It looks half dead!"

herr doktor bimler said...

you will to check for anaerobic bacteria

That can be done by having two vacuum-sealed packs that are quantum-entangled, and only checking one of them, a process known as commiseration.

You got a supplier for the quantum entanglements? My brother-in-law can do them for you at $12.50 a tonne. Good quality, no brandmarks visible.

Works best if you seal the bags with gluons.

Mine arrived from UPS with their symmetry broken.
