Via Mr. Xecklothxayyquou Gilchrist

Somewhat old, but NOT TO ME SO THERE.
This year, 2009 marks the 43rd anniversary of the Royal Guardsmen's release of the hit record Snoopy vs. The Red Baron. This is a milestone not to be taken lightly.

[...]

No band returning from that long ago has the original members or any new recorded material out there for the Fans. Maybe they have run their course. The Royal Guardsmen have a great idea for celebrating the anniversary. Our course is clear and we think you're going to like this one. Snoopy vs. Osama is now for sale at www.shop.theroyalguardsmen.com

Happy 43rd Anniversary!
Source as usual.

Having just perused the lyrics of Snoopy vs. Osama I will be not commenting for a while whilst I get replacement eyes. Nothing says Baby Boomers quite like that terrible song.
However it is in the Key of E which according to the David O'Toole Pop Rock Lesson is "a powerful Rock and Blues key standard'

Plus, the Key of E is the People's key, but I want to know what is the key of the bourgeoisie?

The man in that guitar video has taken some poor bird's home just so he could have a shaggy new hat. Perfidious.

I think it's and Ostrich nest. He's been ostracized because of his guitar playing.

I try not to make puns about large flightless birds, but (a) Another Kiwi started it; and (b) I suffer from logo-rhea.

Just Flamin' go!

After last night's curry, I would rather not hear anything about 'flaming O'.
No more puns from me. They only pour petrel on the fire.

This from someone who links to a baseball pitcher who says that the best ritual he has before a game is air guitar to a Dragon Force song.

The important thing here is that I am acknowledged as a person. Thank you for that.

"I am your new... piss... dove."
WHAT?!

Anonymous said...

Is that the Lesser Piss Dove or the Crested Piss Dove? They are distinct varieties and need differently sized trouser legs for nesting purposes.

AWESOME. I SO want that disco-ball star hat. Also, if you're not a Günther fan, you should be.

I've posted this one elsewhere but the posing on the hood of the car is a triumph.

And the key used in 95% of all Cramps songs. If it's good enough for Ivy, it's good enough for me!
